Rotate Dance presents the second annual summer festival, Dance Martha Dance!, an offering to the Martha's Vineyard community of a diverse new generation of contemporary dance choreographers from New York City. Rotate Dance brings works by Germual Barnes, Keely Garfield, Daniel Gwirtzman, Romy Reading, and Eryc Taylor The festival is curated, directed and produced by Romy Reading and Eryc Taylor. The program showcases New York City Contemporary Dance.

The performances will take place Friday, August 26th and Saturday, August 27th, 2005 at 8:00 PM at Union Chapel on Naragansett Avenue located in Oak Bluffs in Martha's Vineyard. Admission is $15 advance purchase, $20 day of show, $10 students/seniors. Audience reservations can be made by calling our reservation hotline (212) 714-7088 or online.

Romy Reading, Co-Director of Rotate Dance holds an MFA in Dance from Tisch School of the Arts. She has performed in works by Germaul Barnes, Sean Curran, David Dorfman, Steven Koplowitz, Gus Solomons Jr. Doug Varone, among others. Her work has been presented in theDancenow/NYC/ The Festival, as well as at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater. Most recently she joined forces with Eryc Taylor to from Rotate Dance. She looks forward to collaborating again on future choreographic works with her talented partner Eryc Taylor and performing in this year's festival. She wishes to send a tremendous thanks to all the artists, especially to her partner Eryc Taylor.

Eryc Taylor, Co-director of Rotate Dance, a native of Los Angeles, CA. He received his BFA in Dance from University of the Arts/ Philadelphia and went on to later receive his MFA in Dance from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He has studied abroad at London Contemporary School of Dance and in Paris at Le Centre du Dance de Maris. He has performed works by and with Mark Dendy, Group Motion, Paul Taylor, Milton Meyers, Sean Curran, and Gus Solomons Jr. He has collaborated with several artists on this program including Germaul Barnes, Laura Peterson, and Romy Reading. His choreography has presented nationally and internationally. His work has appeared at Lincoln center Out-of-Doors, New York's Joyce Soho, and Joe's Pub at The Public Theater. Taylor looks forward to the inaugural season of Dance Martha Dance and to future collaborations with this amazing collective of choreographers.
