Sara Hook
Sara Hook, a former soloist with Nikolais Dance Theater, has toured internationally and appeared on national television in the 1987 Kennedy Center Honors. She has also performed with Murray Louis, Pearl Lang, Jean Erdman, David Parker, among many others. She now directs Sarah Hook Dances which has most recently appeared at Dance Theater Workshop, Joe's Pub at the Public Theater, and the West End Theater in NYC. Her work has also been produced intrernationally with David Parker and the Big Bang Group. She holds an MFA in Dance from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and is currently co-director of the MFA program in Dance at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.
